Check it out!

Yule
The blurb and cover art can be seen here.

The cover now shows rope instead of handcuffs.  Although the story doesn't actually use rope, I feel this is more representative of what the story is about.

Yule
Yule is now up on Loose Id's web site.  (working title was 'The Feast of Odin')

My co-writer links to the cover here

I love the cover art, especially the candles, though I have to point out to readers that that you should NEVER try what is described in the story with the type of manacles shown on the cover.  What you would actually need are these.

Suspension cuffs greatly reduce the risk of injury and also give your sub something to grip onto.

The Feast of Odin is now complete.  I notice with interest that I appear to have left myself and [info]julesjones a possible hook for a follow on story should one ever be requested.  (It would be a summer solstice story, should it ever happen)

Meanwhile, I'd better get back to the much longer story "The World a Turning".  That's very much a working title, but I'm 17K into the story, so it's making good progress.  It will be a very different kind of story as it's not based around old traditions, but it still has consensual BDSM at the core, albeit a different kind of BDSM relationship with more focus on the mental aspects.

Just look at these beauties!  I may have to work one into a story sometime...

I'm working on a novel and at this relatively early stage I can tweak the third character to be either gender without doing much harm to the overall dynamic.

The first female character is an officer in the US Air Force and her first relationship will be with an older man who is very controlling in his normal life, but (like quite a lot of powerful men) is a submissive sexually.

There's a third younger character who will end up in a very complex relationship with these two.  I'd originally thought to make this one female so that the primary character could have one relationship with each gender, but there might be scope for making the character male and complicating matters even further.  I've already written the sub character as being bisexual.

I could go for either a V or a triad.

What appeals more?  A woman with two guys, or a woman with a guy and a girl, or a woman and two guys all sleeping with each other?

The third character is definitely vanilla as far as things like BDSM go, but could easily be poly.

I'm currently working on a story with [info]julesjones, which is based on the fact that Yule is actually the feast of Odin.  Given my love of BDSM, I'm guessing that it will surprise no one that the story involves a consensual BDSM scene.
